Introduction
El Estilo, a handcrafted macrame brand based in Rampurhat, Birbhum, West Bengal, is known for its beautifully knotted creations that blend traditional craft with modern aesthetic. Founded by Pallabi Ghosh, El Estilo began its ‘brand journey’ in 2024. As the brand sought to establish a consistent, elegant visual identity across both digital and physical platforms, they partnered with Hot Coffee Media.
This case study walks through the creative collaboration that shaped El Estilo’s logo, business card, and promotional banner, contributing to a distinctive and memorable handcrafted brand.
Step 1: Logo Design – Elegant, Minimal, and Meaningful
In May 2024, El Estilo approached us to design their brand logo. Their requirement was clear: a minimal yet elegant design that communicates luxury, tradition, and modern style.
We crafted a typographic monogram combining the initials “E” and “L” with clean serif lines and deep maroon tones. The final logo reflected a timeless feel, aligning perfectly with the artisanal quality of El Estilo’s macrame products.

Client Feedback:
“Thank you so much for this elegant logo design… I am fully satisfied with the service… Looking forward to work with you again in the future.”
– Pallabi Ghosh, Founder, El Estilo
Step 2: Business Card Design – From Instagram to Hand
By October 2024, El Estilo had built a strong Instagram presence. They now needed a business card that felt like a physical extension of their digital brand.
Hot Coffee Media designed a custom business card that aligned perfectly with their Instagram aesthetics—featuring elegant fonts, a clean layout, social media handles, and colour palette consistent with their online identity.
The result? A card that customers loved and remembered. Pallabi reported that many people recognised the brand from the design alone, showing how consistency across platforms boosts recall.

Step 3: Banner Design – Bold Visibility at Poush Mela
In December 2024, El Estilo prepared to showcase their work at the historic Poush Mela in Shantiniketan. For this occasion, they needed a 6ft by 3ft promotional banner that would attract footfall and represent the brand elegantly.

Our design team created a clean, impactful banner highlighting:
- The logo and tagline
- Product images with minimal border design
- A QR code for instant Instagram access
- Contact details and location
Despite the large size, the design remained minimal and inviting, allowing the handcrafted products to shine through.
The banner received praise from both the client and their stall visitors. The brand’s presence stood out among many at the mela thanks to its polished visual identity.
Design Philosophy: Consistency & Elegance
Across all three assets, our focus remained consistent:
- Use of brand-aligned fonts and colours
- Clarity of message and contact information
- Elegance in minimalism
- Cross-platform visual consistency
This thoughtful design approach helped El Estilo project a professional image, building trust with new customers while staying true to its handcrafted roots.
Conclusion: A Lasting Relationship Built on Creative Trust
From logo to business card to banner, Hot Coffee Media contributed to El Estilo’s growing visual identity. We became more than just a design agency, we were happy to play a part in their creative journey.
We’re proud to continue working with El Estilo as their brand grows and evolves.
